File System Table Full / SMP

Hallo,

so nach einer Uptime von 12 bis 24 keige ich folgende Meldung:

Oct 6 02:45:05 kiwi syslogd: /dev/ttyv0: Too many open files in system
Oct 6 02:45:05 kiwi /kernel: file: table is full

Die Hardware ist ein BX mit Dual Celeron. Der Rechner wird als
Wokrstation genutzt, also mit X und Windowmaker. Hat einer eine Idee
woher das kommen kann? Mein Kernel ist einigermaßen standard, eben mit
SMP.
