Nagle mich nicht darauf fest, aber bei einer ungelabelten
Platte sollte der Treiber ein Default-Label "synthetisie-
ren", in dem es eine c-Partition gibt. da0c sollte also
gehen. Die manpage sagt dazu:

 | If an uninitialized disk is opened, the slice table will
 | be initialized with a fictitious FreeBSD slice spanning
 | the entire disk. Similarly, if an uninitialized (or
 | non-FreeBSD) slice is opened, its disklabel will be
 | initialized with parameters returned by the drive and a
 | single `C' partition encompassing the entire slice.

Im Zweifelsfall kann man das Problem umgehen, indem man
eine FAT-Partition drauftut.
