IDE Probleme

Moin zusammen,

ich wollte mir ein neues fBSD gönnen, diesmal mit ner ganzen Platte.
Problem : die Platte wird ganz komisch erkannt - 11 Köpfe

Hier was dmesg geschrieben hat:

wdc0 at 0x1f0-0x1f7 irq 14 flags 0xb0ff0ff on isa
wdc0: unit 0 (wd0): <FUJITSU MPD3130AT>, LBA, DMA, 32-bit,
multi-block-16, sleep-hack
wd0: 12417MB (25431840 sectors), 1583 cyls, 255 heads, 63 S/T, 512 B/S
wdc0: unit 1 (wd1): <IBM-DHEA-36480>, multi-block-15
wd1: 6197MB (12692736 sectors), 18315 cyls, 11 heads, 63 S/T, 512 B/S

Die IBM-Platte müsste aber mit 12592/16/63 = 790/255/63 (CHS -> LBA)
eingebunden werden.

Kann man das irgendwie fixen?
