Ich denke, was Heino hier (berechtigt) angesprochen hat,
ist, daß dieses spezifische Kernel-Update Arbeiten erfordert,
die nicht konform mit den dokumentierten Prozeduren sind.
Richtig ist natürlich, daß in /usr/src/UPDATING genau dies
erwähnt wird, plus welche Maßnahme konkret zu unternehmen ist.

Die Vermutung, daß es zu einem anderen Zeitpunkt "richtiger"
sein könnte. :-)

Knackpunkt ist ja, daß "mergemaster -p" an einer Stelle
aufzurufen ist, wo es normalerweise nicht zu tun ist (also
vor der Installation des Kernels). Das sagt der UPDATING-Eintrag
ja auch so aus.
