Kann nicht sein. Auch wenn das Limit für Coredumps 0 ist,
würde seine Shell immer noch eine entsprechende Meldung
ausgeben (»segmentation fault« oder »terminated by signal
SIGSEGV« o.ä.), und es würde nach /var/log/messages geloggt
werden (»/kernel: pid xxxx (mozilla), uid yyyy: exited on
signal 11«).

Also scheint der Prozeß in seinem Fall tatsächlich einfach
stillschweigend das Handtuch zu schmeißen.
