Cups , HP 3820

Hallo Alle. -- Ich bin am Verzweifeln.
Ich habe den USB Drucker 3820 von HP, welchen ich gerne mit FreeBSD (5.1)
benutzen möchte. Ich kenne die Einrichtung über des Webinterface von Linux
her. (via localhost:631) Aber es klappt so nicht. -Keine Verbindung.
Wer könnte mir mal erklären, wie das grundsätzlich alles so Funktioniert. Was
für Pakete ich alles so brauche etc. (die grundsätzliche Einrichtung eben)
Und vor allem warum habe ich keine Verbindung wenn ich via localhost 631 mit
cups zu sprechen versuche. :-)

Ach ja, noch einpaar zusätzliche Dinge über die beschaffenheit des ganzen
Systems.
Also Freebsd 5.1 mit dem dazu geliefertem KDE 3.1 .?

darauf reagiert und Zeugs gedruckt.
