Das geht nicht. Aber zum Abspielen mußt Du die auch nicht
mounten; mplayer spielt (S)VCDs direkt ab.

Und ja, man kann aus DVDs (S)VCDs machen, und zwar mit
Hilfe von mplayer und den mjpegtools (und ein paar anderen
Ports); ich hatte mir dafür mal ein Skript geschrieben,
was das vereinfacht.
