Das ist ziemlich eindeutig ein Hardwareproblem.

Check mal, ob alle Lüfter noch dort sind, wo sie hingehören
(und sich drehen!). Setz mal testweise im BIOS-Setup die
RAM-Timings auf konservativere Werte. Und ich hoffe mal,
Du hast den Prozessor nicht übertaktet.

Übrigens, "core dumped" ist keine Fehlermeldung, sondern
hat rein informativen Charakter. Die eigentliche Fehler-
meldung steht davor und wird in Deinem Fall vermutlich
"segmentation fault" (signal 11), "bus error" oder etwas
ähnliches sein.
