Ja, man sollte auf jeden Fall die aktuellste FreeBSD-Ver-
sion einsetzen. Die Linux-API von FreeBSD wird ja auch
ständig der Weiterentwicklung von Linux angepaßt (und hinkt
naturgemäß immer etwas hinterher).

Ob ein ganz konkretes Programm darunter läuft, kann man
letztlich leider nur durch Ausprobieren herausfinden.
Wenn es keine »esoterischen« Dinge tut, stehen die Chancen
gut, daß es klappt.
