Was meinst du mit »BSD-tar«?

FreeBSD verwendet eine Abzweigung von GNU tar 1.11.2.
NetBSD verwendet ebenfalls GNU tar oder eine Variante davon.
Hier sind keine Format-Probleme zu erwarten.

OpenBSDs tar ist ein 4.4BSD pax, mit beschränkter Kompatibilität
zu GNU tar.
