Re: UDMA100 mit Promise langsam ?

Hi,

   ich hab hier 4.3 -STABLE auf CUBX-E laufen. Und habe auch
   kleine Probleme. Erstens P-III 800Mhz funkzt nicht auf diesem board
   mit dieser Frequenz. Das liegt daran dass CUBX-E 133FSB nicht
   unterstuezt. Beim booten nach der Erkennung, atapci1:
   <Promise ATA100 controller>, und nach fd0: <1440-KB 3.5" drive> on
   fdc0 drive, kommt jedes mal Pause ~20-40 sek., was nicht besonderes
   angenehm ist. Aber mit read/write (mit softupdates) habe ich
   ueberhaupt keine Probleme. Ich hab IBM-DTLA-307030 und bin damit
   zufrieden. Ich vermute bei dir liegt es an Matrox Festplatten.
