Ich kann Dir versichern, daß das bei 4.3 geht, ich hab's
gerade auf dem neuen Aldi-Notebook (ASUS L8400K) getestet:
 - CD rein
 - mount /cdrom
 - pkg_add /cdrom/packages/Latest/XFree86.tgz
 - Config bauen
Funzt.

Man kann natürlich auch sysinstall nehmen, wenn man eine
Aversion gegen Shellprompts hat ... ;-)
