nfs ohne rc-Unterstuetzung

ich komme mir zwar ein wenig blöd vor, aber:

Was braucht ein NFS-Export um zu funktionieren?

Ich dachte:

portmap
nfsd
/etc/exports

reichen aus (zumindest, solange man mit IP-Nummern arbeitet, sonst halt
noch DNS bzw. /etc/hosts). Ist aber nicht, der Client gibt beim mount
aus:

"<ip-adresse:/mountpoint>: nfsd: Portmap failure - RPC timed out"

Was fehlt hier noch?
