Probleme beim Bauen des Port irc/ngircd

Hi,

ich wollte vorhin mal den IRC-Server ngircd austesten, weil der
auf mich einen ganz netten Eindruck macht. Allerdings bekomme
ich beim Bauen des Ports folgende Fehlermeldung und einen Ab-
bruch:

$ make -DWITH_IDENT install clean

[..snipp..]

checking for ident_id in -lident... no
checking for ident_id... no
configure: error: Can't enable IDENT support!
===> Script "configure" failed unexpectedly.

Hat jemand eine Idee, woran das liegen kann? Mit Google bin ich
zu diesem Thema nicht sonderlich fuendig geworden.
