Problem mit super utility

Ich versuche super zum laufen zu bringen. Wenn ich super aufrufe passiert
nichts.

Beispiel:
super -V oder super -h ergeben keinen Output.

Ich habe zwei Einträge in /usr/local/etc/super.tab wie folgt:

mountEncrypted.sh /usr/local/bin/mountEncrypted.sh manfred
umountEncrypted.sh /usr/local/bin/umountEncrypted.sh manfred

Rufe ich super mountEncrypted.sh auf passiert nichts.

super -f zeigt auch nichts an.

Ich bin völlig ratlos.
