Wenn es »bombensicher« sein soll, wirst Du um eine Cluster-
Lösung nicht herumkommen, d.h. mind. zwei Maschinen. Ich
würde dann auch Massenspeicher und Server voneinander tren-
nen (z.B. eine NAS-Lösung, die selbstverständlich ebenfalls
geclustert sein sollte, z.B. NetApp Filer). Sofern ausrei-
chend finanzielle Mittel vorhanden sind, natürlich ...

Ehm ... 5.1 würde ich eigentlich eher nicht für etwas neh-
men, was »bombensicher« sein soll.
