Kernelmodule für 4.x laufen nicht unter 5.x.

Du solltest Dir besser einen SCSI-Controller zulegen, für
den es nicht nur proprietäre Closed-Source-Treiber gibt.
Oder beschwere Dich bei Dawi und verlange einen Treiber
für FreeBSD 5.
