Remote Update von 4.7 auf 4.8

Hallo liebe Leute,

ich suche Informationen darüber, wie ich eine FreeBSD Maschine remote
updaten kann. Nachdem ein Wechsel in den Single-User Modus sich aufgrund
fehlenden Netzwerkzugriffs verbietet (und auch kein serieller Zugriff
besteht), funktioniert die im Handbuch beschriebene und von mir bisher
immer benutzte Methode nicht. Wie läßt sich das möglichst einfach
bewerkstelligen?
