Hast Du adjkerntz(8) im /etc/crontab ?
Hast Du /etc/localtime ?
Was hast Du denn ? -release || -stable ? 4-x || 5.0 ?

Wieso hast Du ntpd wenn Du ntpdate benutzt ??
