Das sieht etwas merkwuerdig aus. Eine 24MB grosse prim. Partition, die
bei CHS 0/0/1 beginnt und bei CHS 1023/255/63 endet?! Meine Vermutung
waere, dass Deine Partitionstabelle nen Schlag hat und fsck deshalb
die Biege macht.

Kannst Du mal die komplette Ausgabe von "fdisk" dieser Platte und ein
"disklabel" des/der FreeBSD-Slice/s posten?
