Kann sein dass Kabel defekt ist oder die Festplatte geht langsam kaputt.
Du kannst sie unter UDMA33/UDMA66/UDMA100 ausprobieren.

Und teste mal mit:

dd if=/dev/ad2 of=/dev/null bs=512 skip=$x
