make buildworld und dannach

Hallo Liste,

ich habe mal auf meinem FreeBSD-Rechner (FreeBSD 4.3) ein make
buildworld gemacht (ca. 10 Stunden auf einem P100 - kommt das hin?),
im wesentlichen, um mal zu sehen, ob das geht. Anschliessend will ich
dann per cvsup das System updaten (der Download soll dann spaeter
automatisch einmal die Woche gemacht werden, Systemupdate dann bei
Bedarf).

Die Tatsache, dass buildworld durchgelaufen ist heisst ja aber noch
nicht, dass ein installworld auch fehlerfrei funktioniert. Also sollte
man vorher ein System-Backup machen. Bloss am besten, wie?

Reicht es, einfach den /usr-Pfad irgendwo abzulegen:

# cp -R /usr /usr.BAK
# make installworld

und dann reboot?
