Sollte. Hab' ich aber auch nicht:

% ls -l /etc/nsswitch.conf
ls: /etc/nsswitch.conf: No such file or directory
% locate nsswitch.conf
/usr/compat/linux/etc/nsswitch.conf
/usr/ports/emulators/svr4_base/files/nsswitch.conf
% uname -rs
FreeBSD 4.5-STABLE
