Memorybedarf aus C abfragen

Liebe Leute,

kann mir bitte jemand weiterhelfen:

wie bekomme ich aus einem laufenden Prozess den aktuellen
Speicherbedarf?

(Es geht um Performance bei einer DB Applikation)
