mkisofs und burncd

Hi,

Ich versuche gerade einen CD unter FreeBSD (duerfte in dem Fall zu
Linux kein Unterschied machen) zu kopieren.
Problem: Das ISO File ist weselntlich grosser als
a) die physikalische CD von der gelesen wird
b) Als ein unter WIndows erzeugtem ISO Image

n einem 650MB Rohling auf dem Windows NT drauf ist,
erzeugt mkisofs ein 720 MB File !
Ok, nun dachte man sich, das passt vielleicht auf die CD
weil wegen Sektoren sind anderst oder was auch immmer.
Aber:

Nein. Es passt nicht. mkisofs macht schlicht und ergreifend
zu grosse ISO Files. Grund ist mir unklar.

Ich habs mit und ohne -R und -J Optionen versucht.
Es kommt immer ein File > 720 MB dabei raus.

Ein Koenigreich fuer ein gescheites CD Kopierprogramm auf FreeBSD.

Aus einem frueheren Versuch:

  make, make install
  
- mount /cdrom

Wer will:
Having done that, if you have vn configured in your kernel,
you can mount the file system by doing:                    
    # vnconfig -e vn0c /tmp/bootable.iso
    # mount -t cd9660 /dev/vn0c /mnt    
At which point you can verify that /mnt and /tmp/myboot are identical.

Vergessen:
     -s speed      set the speed of the burner device, typically 1, 2 or 4.
                   Defaults to 1.

!@#$% und mal sollte zusehen das das ISO File keine 650 MB
(bzw. 700 MB) nicht ueberschreitet....                    
NT 4.0 ISO File unter Windows: 616.548.480 Bytes.
Warum macht mkisofs 7xx (Siebenhundertnochwas) draus?
