Also, ich habe bisher keine Probleme damit gehabt. Im Ge-
genteil -- vorher war auf der Alpha ein OpenBSD, das alle
naselang gecrasht ist. Seit da FreeBSD drauf läuft (ca.
halbes Jahr), ist Ruhe.

Naja, Du solltest keine Geschwindigkeitswunder erwarten.

Ich habe ein AXPpci33 mit einer 166MHz 21066A, 40 Mbyte
RAM (ist leider kaum noch zu bekommen, und wenn, dann nur
sauteuer, sonst hätte ich da schon längst mehr reingetan).
Board + CPU wurden mal für 100 DM irgendwo verramscht; mehr
sind die auch nicht wert. Das wertvollste an dem ganzen
ist der Onboard-SCSI-Controller (wenn auch nur fast10). ;)
