Hast Du denn auch "flo(at)knuth.drofnats" in Deiner generics-
table stehen?

Wenn Du Deinem mutt sagst, er soll "flo(at)knuth.drofnats" in
die From:-Zeile tun (warum auch immer -- ich verstehe
nicht, warum Du's so eingestellt hast), dann verwendet
sendmail genau dieses als Key für den genericstable.

Wenn Du /usr/bin/mail verwendest, wird per Default erstmal
der unqualifizierte Username eingesetzt (d.h. nur "flo").
Das erklärt, warum sich mutt und mail unterschiedlich ver-
halten.
