Bitte nicht »X-Windows«. »Windows« ist Bills Welt.
Die manpage X(1) sagt Dir, wie das Ding richtig heißt.

Hast Du im BIOS die Einstellung für »PnP OS« auf »NO«
oder »OTHER« gesetzt? Falls nein, hol das bitte nach.

Übrigens, in meinem Notebook (Aldi/Medion) ist auch ein
RealTek 8139, der funktioniert einwandfrei.
