danke erstmal für die Erklärung...Die Kernel Compilierung hat ja wieder ohne
Probleme gelaufen...

Alles wie ihr beschrieben hat, war ganz gut...Neuer Kernel bootet also ohne
Probleme..Die alte kernel auch..Hab beider Versucht...load /kernel.old
usw.usw..Da hab ich keine Probleme gehabt..

Problem ist immer noch Netzwerkkarte...

Ifconfig ed0 192.168.0.2 netmask 255.255.255.0 up oder ohne "up"

sag mir nur folgende Fehlermeldung:

ifconfig: interface ed0 does not exist

wie kann ich jetzt dieses Modul laden ??? Die karte ist wie gesagt,
NE2000PCI bzw.. eine Realtek 8029 ..(Keine ISA)..Unter Suse und bei anderen
Linux versionen hab ich die Karte immer als "ne2k-pci.o" geladen

Was muss ich noch machen ?????
