Hm, in der manpage steht ausdruecklich:

Note that this can have a destructive impact on the system.

Wenn man das so ausfuehrt und noch SCSI-Platten hat ist
*mindestens* fsck angesagt.

Bei mir hat es "Power on"-Reset am Drive mit
anschliessendem camcontrol rescan auch getan.
War allerdings ein HP-Laufwerk
