Hm, ich benutze seit Jahren elm zum Mailen (allerdings
nicht für die Listen hier; da nehme ich tin) und hatte
noch _nie_ ein Problem mit Umlauten. Bist Du sicher,
daß Dein locale richtig gesetzt ist (d.h. $LC_CTYPE)?
