Hast du das Interface in /etc/rc.conf in "network_interfaces"
eingetragen?
Mir selbst gefaellt es uebrigens besser, fuer jedes Interface ein
/etc/start_if.<interfacename> zu haben, da kann man dann auch
gleich noch mehr konfigurieren, wie z.B. ein spppcontrol fuer ein
ISDN-Interface, oder gleich einige statische ARP-Eintraege
eintragen.
