Danke, das klingt auch gut. Die andere Maschine läuft nicht ständig;
verträgt syslog das?
Diese Lösung schau' ich mir jedenfalls auch noch mal an, einstweilen
bin ich Oliver Frommes Rat gefolgt und starte in .xsession:
ssh -f server super xconsole ... -display desk:0 &
