host(1) macht komisch.

Hallo!

host -l gibt ja bekanntlich die Subdomains einer Domain aus.
Klappt auch wunderbar.

Nur:

alex:~> host -l online-club.de
online-club.de name server ns.rp-online.de
online-club.de name server ns1.rp-plus.de
online-club.de name server picalon.gun.de
online-club.de has address 149.221.247.41
news.online-club.de has address 194.77.111.19
mail.online-club.de has address 149.221.247.41
proxy.online-club.de has address 149.221.247.16
www.online-club.de has address 149.221.247.41
irc.online-club.de has address 149.221.247.41
ftp.online-club.de has address 149.221.247.41

ok, normal.
dann.
alex:~> host -l rp-online.de
ListHosts: error receiving zone transfer:
  result: NOERROR, answers = 419, authority = 0, additional = 0
  Jul 18 21:59:07 cichlids /kernel: pid 831 (host), uid 1001: exited
  on signal 11 (core dumped)
  Segmentation fault (core dumped)

allerdings, noch zweimal ausgefuehrt:
alex:~> host -l rp-online.de
ListHosts: error receiving zone transfer:
  result: NOERROR, answers = 419, authority = 0, additional = 0
  Jul 18 21:59:22 cichlids /kernel: pid 832 (host), uid 1001: exited
  on signal 11 (core dumped)
  Segmentation fault (core dumped)
alex:~> host -l rp-online.de
rp-online.de name server ns.rp-online.de
rp-online.de name server picalon.gun.de
rp-online.de has address 149.221.1.194
pas1-pri2.rp-online.de has address 149.221.235.2
d-mirror.rp-online.de has address 149.221.247.94
pas1-pri3.rp-online.de has address 149.221.235.3
[...ziemlich lang...]

alex:~> host -l rp-plus.de
ListHosts: error receiving zone transfer:
  result: NOERROR, answers = 642, authority = 0, additional = 0
  Jul 18 21:58:32 cichlids /kernel: pid 828 (host), uid 1001: exited
  on signal 11 (core dumped)
  Segmentation fault (core dumped)

rp-plus.de duerfte ziemlich gross sein, schaetzungsweise mind. 1000
subdomains oder so (denke ich).
Trotzdem finde ich das komisch.

Warum klappt rp-online.de manchmal?
Warum klappt rp-plus.de gar nicht?
Warum klappen andere domains?

Liegt das an mir, an host oder an den NS, die da benutzt werden? (bei
mir uebrigens bind8)

Kennt ihr das?
Wenn das ein Problem von host ist, koennte man ja mal kucken, was da
passiert.

Ich kann leider .core-files nicht stracen oder wie das heisst, weil
ich nicht weiss, wie ;-)

Alex
