Ich habs noch nicht ausprobiert, aber bisher noch von keinem
Erfolgserlebnis mit TC und FreeBSD gehört.

GELI verschlüsselt ganze Partitionen oder Festplatten, PEFS erstellt
ähnlich wie TC Container, die verschlüsselt werden. Beides ist aber
nicht kompatibel mit TrueCrypt.

Da musst du dir wohl anders behelfen. Z.B. die DVDs mit dd rippen und
als ISOs an eine virtuelle Maschine übergeben, die Linux, Windows oder
DragonFly BSD ausführt. Letzteres hat mit tcplay eine TrueCrypt
kompatible Implementierung:
