zfs - ufs - ein kleiner Vergleich

Gegeben ist ein PC mit Q6600 / 4GB Ram, FreeBSD 7-STABLE 64Bit.
kern.max_vnodes wurden auf 400.000 gesetzt.

angeschlossen 2 SATA Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 (7200/32MB/SATA-300) am ICH8.

Mir aufgefallen:
- Das Schreiben unter ZFS ist "lahm"
- Das Lesen ist "viel Schneller"
- bei Random Zugriffen punktet ZFS "gigantisch"
- Die Latency ist "durchweg" höher...

Da mich einige features von ZFS doch recht "stark anmachen" - werde ich es trotzdem verwenden ;-)))
