Ich nehme an, das bezog sich nicht auf meine Antwort,

WITNESS und INVARIANTS hatte er doch bereits auskommen-
tiert (nur malloc.conf erwähnte er nicht, daher wies ich
darauf noch hin). Das Auskommentieren des Debuggers aber
ist nicht unbedingt sinnvoll und macht die Kiste auch
nicht schneller. Den würde ich drinlassen.

Kurz gesagt: Was war die Intention Deiner Mail? :-)
