Ja, das configure-Skript von mplayer sieht das vor, AFAIK.
Allerdings weiß ich nicht, ob der FreeBSD-Port es vorsieht,
d.h. Du muß da nötigenfalls a den Port-Innereien herum-
schrauben.

Mir ist allerdings nicht klar, warum Du diesen Aufwand (und
die Risiken) in Kauf nehmen willst. Du handelst Dir damit
einen verkrüppelten mplayer ein, der bestimmte Formate nicht
mehr abspielen kann, und ich kann nicht erkennen, welche
Vorteile das haben sollte.
