Ich habe in /boot/loader.conf folgende beiden Zeilen.
Damit funktioniert's problemlos, auch ohne Neubauen des
Bootblocks oder ähnliche Absurditäten.

kernel_options="-h"

Ich würde empfehlen, bei den Standardwerten von 9600N1 zu
bleiben. Das gibt am wenigstens Probleme und funktioniert
mit dem üblichen Equipment out-of-the-box.
