IPMI

Ahoi

Hat es schon jmd geschafft ipmi (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IPMI) für ein
intel entry server board (SE7221BK1) in Betrieb zu nehmen? Ich habe aus den
Ports installiert:

ipmi-kmod: Backport of ipmi driver from FreeBSD 7-CURRENT for FreeBSD
5.x/6.x
ipmitool : CLI to manage IPMI systems

Beim Laden des ipmi Moduls gibt es folgende Fehlermeldung:

  ipmi0: <System Management BIOS> at iomem 0xfaf40-0xfaf5e,0xfcfc0-0xfd8db
on isa0
  ipmi0: SMBIOS Version: 2.03, revision: 2.03
  ipmi0: No IPMI interface found
  device_attach: ipmi0 attach returned 6
  ppc0: parallel port not found.

Wenn ich ipmitool auf das Standard device (open) loslasse passiert dies:

Could not open device at /dev/ipmi0 or /dev/ipmi/0 or
/dev/ipmidev/0: No such file or directory

Und beim Versuch auf das ipmi Laninterface zuzugreifen jenes

   Error: Unable to establish LAN session
   ipmi_lan_send_cmd failed to open intf
   Get Device ID command failed
   Unable to open SDR for reading

Diverse Versuche das Board über das BIOS oder das Setup Management Tool
unter FreeBSD gesprächig zu machen haben nicht gefruchtet.

Allerdings: Der Zugriff übers Netz von Windows und dem Server Managment Tool
von Intel aus funktioniert. Die Sensoren und Berichte lassen sich dort
auslesen. Das hätte ich natürlich viel lieber unter freebsd.
