Ja, ok, das hatte ich wohl nicht so wirklich verstanden. Ich habe nun
u.a. damit bisschen herum experimentiert.

Aber kurz vorweg. Ein wirklich großen Schritt bin ich dadurch
weitergekommen, dass ich nun andere Nameserver verwende. Jetzt
funktioniert die Namensauflösung.

Die Werte mtu/mru max und mrru mit jeweils 296 (minimaler Wert) zu
verwenden oder nicht, macht bisher keinen Unteschied.

Die maximale Paketgröße liegt so umd die 220. Beeindruckend finde ich
auch die sehr schwankenden "time"-Werte.

Was bedeutet das aber nun für mich? Eigentlich würde ich daraus
schließen, dass ich in der ppp.conf den mtu-Wert auf 220 setze,
allerdings sagt mir ppp dass der kleinste Wert eben 296 ist.

Ich habe deshalb mit "ifconfig tun0 mtu 200" den Wert von 1500 runter
gesetzt und die große Überraschung erlebt. Lynx und firefox haben mit
dem Datentransfer begonnen, allerdings in schwindelerregenden
Geschwindigkeiten von 5 bis 50 bytes/sekunde. Ich habe immerhin schon
Fragmente des heise favicon.ico im firefox gesehen!

Somit habe ich "nur" noch ein ziemlich großes Geschwindigkeitsproblem :-)!

Jemand noch eine kleine Idee?
