Ich würde es mit UNIX-Bordmitteln versuchen, sprich, mit
tee(1) und FIFOs (named pipes).

rm -f stream.dump
mkfifo stream.dump
tee aufzeichnungsdatei < stream.dump | mplayer [Optionen zum Apspielen] &
mplayer -dumpstream [sonstige Optionen zum Aufnehmen]

Das war jetzt nur ein grobes Strickmuster, und ich habe das
in Verbindung mit bktr noch nicht selbst ausprobiert, aber
prinzipiell sollte das gehen.
