ppp stirbt

Hi,

ich habe seit einiger Zeit Probleme mit dem ppp Daemon.
Er arbeitet einfach nicht mehr, als wenn die Leitung einfach tot ist,
allerdings daucht nichts im log File vom ppp auf.

Allerdings bekomme ich immer die Meldung, wenn es passiert:
>>> WARNING
>>> Executing updatedb as root. This WILL reveal all filenames
>>> on your machine to all login users, which is a security risk.
sort: write failed: standard output: Broken pipe
sort: write error

Hat einer eine Idee, woran das liegen könnte?
