Festplattenproblem

Hi !
Ich hab mir vor einiger Zeit einen S-ATA Controller nebst Platte gekauft. Der
Controller ist ein:
atapci1: <Promise PDC20575 SATA150 controller>
und die Platte eine Seagate:
ad6: 76319MB <ST380817AS/3.42> [155061/16/63] at ata3-master SATA150

Die Festplatte läuft in einem Raid 1 verbund, den ich mit gmirror erstellt
habe. Manchmal hab ich dieses Problem:
> ad6: TIMEOUT - READ_DMA retrying (2 retries left) LBA=58471728
> ad6: FAILURE - ATA_IDENTIFY timed out
> ad6: FAILURE - ATA_IDENTIFY timed out
> ad6: WARNING - removed from configuration
> ata3-master: FAILURE - READ_DMA timed out
> GEOM_MIRROR: Device data: provider ad6 disconnected.
> GEOM_MIRROR: Request failed (error=6). ad6[READ(offset=15608193024,
length=8192)]
> GEOM_MIRROR: Request failed (error=6). ad6[READ(offset=29937025024,
length=16384)]
> GEOM_MIRROR: Request failed (error=6). ad6[READ(offset=29937197056,
length=24576)]
> GEOM_MIRROR: Request failed (error=5). ad6[READ(offset=29937524736,
length=24576)]

Nach einem Reboot wird das Raid1 wieder hergestellt und läuft dann 2 - 3 Tage
durch. Jetzt meine Frage, was läuft da schief ?
