Die Meldung kommt vom LDAP-Modul. Wird zeitgleich auch
etwas vom Kernel geloggt (/var/log/messages)?

Vielleicht Process resource limits? Möglicherweise hat der
Prozeß zu viele Dateideskriptoren offen. Folgendes Skript
könnte hilfreich sein, um festzustellen, ob's daran liegt:
