wenn man's weiß, ist es ganz einfach: Die Detektion des Chips ist davon
abhängig, daß der OnBoard-SATA Controller aktiviert ist. Da ich ihn
nicht benutze, war der im BIOS ausgeschaltet.

Nun geht's:

# dmesg|grep ata

Das ist zwar keine besonders saubere Methode, aber ich nehme an es gibt
sonst kein Unterscheidungsmerkmal für die ganzen VIA-ATA-Chips, die alle
mit der gleichen PCI-ID daherkommen ... für mich ist's okay.
