Das kommt drauf an, was für einen »Anmeldebildschirm« Du
verwendest und wie er konfiguriert ist. Im Falle von xdm
wird üblicherweise in /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xdm/Xsetup_0 eine
xconsole gestartet. Wenn das bei Dir der Fall ist (bei
mir ist es so), mußt Du das nur auskommentieren.

Im Normalfall ist so ein Systemkonsolenfenster aber sehr
hilfreich, insbesondere wenn man was in die Binsen geht.
