Zwei Gegenfragen:
-Hast Du den Apache mit der BETA7 kompiliert? Es gab nämlich einige library
veränderungen weshalb alte binaries nicht mehr funktionieren.
-Was sagt /var/log/httpd-error.log

Noch ein Hinweis: In /etc/ssh/sshd.config ist ListenAddress gesetzt?
Hat zwar nix mit dem Apache zu tun, nur so halt.
