Sehr gute Frage. Selbst ein explizites »touch -a« tut
nicht.

Die relevanten RFCs (1094 für v2 und 1813 für v3) führen
atime als ganz normales Attribut auf (neben mtime und
ctime), und es gibt keine Klausel, die besagt, daß ein
Server das einfach ignorieren darf.

Daher war ich zunächst geneigt, das als Bug in der Imple-
mentation von FreeBSD anzusehen -- allerdings verhalten
sich NetApp-Filer und Solaris genauso (hab's gerade ge-
testet), was mich dann doch etwas stutzig werden läßt.
Die NFS-Implementationen von Sun, NetApp und FreeBSD (in
dieser Reihenfolge) habe ich bisher eigentlich immer als
die »korrektesten« angesehen.

Also: Keine Ahnung; ich wüßte es auch gern.
