Squid sollte SSL unterstützen. Guck Dir das mal an.

Wenn es im wesentlichen um statischen Content geht, wäre
eine ganz andere Alternative, den Content einfach auf den
externern Webserver zu mirrorn (auf welchem Weg auch im-
mer), anstatt einen Proxy laufen zu lassen.
